Bananagrams Tournament Every Sunday East Brisbane

FREE Every Sunday at 3pm, we’ve got the Bananagrams game out for our very unofficial Bananagrams Tournament! We currently have three sets of Bananagrams (which you can borrow to play anytime), but on Sunday’s, the matches go down!

Sunday’s games are all about being the best on the day. With three sets, we’re looking for 3 games to go, with the winners from each table progressing to the final top 3 playoff!

Up to 8 players can be on any table and you will be mixed up briefly to form tables. You might be in the final against your partner, your best mate, your mum! The winner takes all and gets to claim themselves as Bananagrams Champion for a week. If you want to come back and play the following week, regardless of if you make the top 3 or not, you’re guaranteed a spot in the final!

What do you win? Just bragging rights! This is just a fun game to play on a Sunday and it’s casual for all ages (over 7). Teams can be made up of players up to teams of 8. If there’s too many players for the first round, there will be two rounds and a larger final battle.

Games will be played using the standard Classic Bananagrams Rules (Page 1 – https://cdn.shopify.com/…/1283/files/Classic_Rules.pdf…). Tables will self adjudicate words from a standard dictionary unless you need us to step in and be a mum.

Feel free to come in earlier and grab a set to practice how to play if you’ve never played before. Games are relatively quick and will be over in about 15 – 20 minutes. The final battle game prohibits the use of two-letter words to make it more interesting.

No need to book, just be at the venue by 3pm sharp to be allocated a spot to play.
